- Both Pfizer's and Moderna's COVID-19 vaccines require two doses

- Both companies acknowledged that their vaccines could induce side effects including muscle pain, chills and headache

- States are preparing to distribute the vaccinations as early as next month


Things we might not know:

- Dr. Sandra Fryhofer (associated with the American Medical Association) worries whether patients will come back for a second dose because of the potentially unpleasant side effects

- Participants in Moderna's and Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine trials were experiencing high fever, body aches, bad headaches, daylong exhaustion after receiving the shots (symptoms associated with mild COVID-19)

- People who take the Moderna vaccine may need to take a day off after a second dose
