In most cases, people who have COVID recover after a few weeks with no major damage. However, there are cases were some of the symptoms linger and may lead to long term consequences.
On going symptoms include:
- Fatigue
- Cough
- Shortness of Breath
- Headache
- Joint Pain/ Body Pain
- Loss of Taste
- Heart Damage
- Stroke
- Lung Damage
Important: Although it is still up in the air about the exact long term consequences of COVID, recently there has been some COVID survivors who have been expressing a burning sensation throughout their bodies. This information is from a COVID-19 Long Hauler Symptoms Survey Report on Facebook where 25% experienced the burning sensation. Despite the fact that researchers haven't conducted an official study regarding these symptoms, a number of patients have reported experiencing these symptoms.
