"Wearing a mask to protect others is an intentional act of kindness" - Dr. Jeffrey Peller
Before quarantine was mandatory, I didn't know if my family was going to be affected. Unfortunately, they were. Everyone in my household got COVID, but my stepdad was the one that got the most sick; he had to go to the hospital for a week, where he was depending on an air ventilator to breathe.
When he returned home, he had to self-quarantine in the bedroom. It was heart-breaking seeing my sister cry out to my stepdad to pick her ip, and he couldn't bring himself to do it because he didn't have the strength.
Thankfully, everyone else didn't experience the systems as severely. Please wear a mask! You don't know who might have it. Yes, the blood of Jesus may cover his children, but we must start following the new rules and doing what's right.
