New York Travel Restrictions

For travelers who were in another state for MORE than twenty four hours:
- They have to get tested within three days before they land in New York
- Upon arrival, the traveler has to quarantine for three days
- On the fourth day, that traveler must take a COVID test. If that test comes back negative, they can leave quarantine
For travelers who were in another state for LESS than twenty four hours:
- They do not need to take a test before leaving the other state
- Travelers do not need to quarantine in New York.
- Travelers must fill out the Health Department Traveler form
- Must take a COVID test on their fourth day in New York
nb. Travelers who don't comply with the rules set in place by the NYS government, may face a fine of up to $10,000.
