Having a self care day is important for your emotional well-being. Taking time to recharge and unwind is very important, especially now.

Many times we feel selfish to take time for ourselves but you can't give what you don't have! You can take a day to recharge or even 30 minutes out of your morning but please put your mental health first. We here at masks4change want to see everyone both physically and emotionally healthy.

Here are some things you can do below:

  1. Unwind with a self-care day

2. Make a journal. Here are some prompts:

- What are your goals for this month?

- What are some things you don't share?

- Where do you want to be?

- 3 things you want to do well in

- 10 things you are thankful for

- A letter to your future self

- Your biggest strengths

- What are some things you need to stop and start doing?

- What fills your happiness?

- A really good idea

- Write about the last time you cried

- What are you most scared of and why?

- What is something someone told you about yourself that you would never forget?


3. Spend 5 minutes for yourself thinking or writing:

- 3 things you are grateful for

- 3 things that would make your day great

- 3 daily affirmations

- 3 amazing things that happened today
