If you are doing remote learning:
Build Endurance: Start by sitting down for an hour and getting some work done, then take a quick break, then maybe get to two hours.
Give Yourself Space: Try to find a dedicated study space by having a set up with your computer and also snacks or water at arm's reach.
Stick To A Schedule: Create a daily schedule for studying. One of the biggest issues with staying home is procrastination.
Beware of Rabbit Holes: Avoid being distracted from social media and other things. When on the computer, only have tabs open that are related to the work you are doing.
Keep Talking: Communicate and reach out to teachers, friends and/or classmates when you need help with something. This school year will be challenging, so it is helpful to all help each other.
If you are doing blended learning:
Research: Find out what your school plans to do in terms of blended learning and figure out if that option is feasible for you and your family. Always be informed and updated on school news.
Keep Organized: Keep a journal, notebooks, or place where you can keep track of the days you go to school and the days you are remote.
Check Up: Check each morning for any signs of illness. If you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, you should remain home. Also, make sure you are up to date with all recommended vaccines.
Develop Routines: Make a habit to bring and do certain things before and after school like packing hand sanitizer in the morning and washing your hands the moment you go home.
